She looks good in orange :)

Hers:
We are ready for game day this weekend!  So excited to cheer our city's team on!

01.30.14

His:
These two are in pure doggy heaven cuddling with Tara on the couch.

Hers:
A rainy drive home before it turns to snow tonight!

01.29.14

His:
One of my favorite murals around downtown.  Makes me miss South Dakota,
and get very excited to film my documentary later this summer...

Hers:
It's been cold and wet, it's been a melancholy kind of week.

01.28.14

His:
Wonder how many footsteps have been taken up and down these stairs over the many years...

Hers:
There is no shortage of spectacular churches on our daily walks.

01.27.14

His
One last look at our hermitage before making the journey back home.
This was certainly a trip to remember.

Hers:
"I often think the night is more alive and more richly colored than the day."
-Vincent Van Gogh

01.26.14

His:
Can't resist a cow skull on the wall!  My Aunt Tessa certainly knows how to decorate a place, and really make it feel like a unique and special kind of home.

Hers:
Keeping warm by a wood stove, I could sit there all day with a good book!

01.25.14

His:
I could have spent hours in the workshop at Cup and Sword.  The smell of fresh cut wood, oil, and tools.  This arrangement of spade bits caught my attention.

Hers:
Watching the sun fall behind the mountains across the valley in Aunt Tessa's hogan.

01.24.14

His:
The view from my chair during some lovely conversation over a glass of Irish Whiskey.

Hers:
It was like a winter wonderland with everything covered in thick frost!

01.23.14

His:
Loved the way this road looked, desolate and calm, leading into an unknown place.

Hers:
We were greeted in Crestone by a thick fog of frost and it was so beautiful!  The second we got into the car after taking these shots, the fog started to lift and the clouds part and we were greeted by small glimpses of the Sangre de Cristo mountain range through wispy clouds.  This is something I love about Crestone, even nature seems to welcome you to this magical place.

01.22.14

His:
Love seeing this mountain range, every time we drive in...  the beautiful Sangre de Cristo's!

Hers:
All of the essentials!

01.21.14

His:
Loved the patterns in this stack of beer barrels at Epic.

Hers:
Epic has quickly become one of my favorite neighborhood breweries and it looks like they're longing for spring as much as I am!  Sundresses anyone?!

01.20.14

His:
I've been admiring this church outside of our rehearsal space... finally had to snap a shot.

Hers:
After yesterday's shot, I felt like our newest doggie needed a little photo love too!

01.19.14

His:
While cruising through some back alleys on the motorcycle, I came across this alley, full of bright colorful dumpsters and graffiti!  Looked cool in the bright sun.

Hers:
This little thing is coming up on her tenth birthday!

01.18.14

His:
The bronc riding was certainly the highlight of the Pro Rodeo competition!
This cowboy had a great run.

Hers:
Big city rodeos are VERY different from the small town ones we're use to!  They do things in a bigger fashion with some of the best cowboys we've ever seen. This rodeo in Denver is also a stock show for selling cattle and I've never seen cleaner cows in my life.  We walked around in amazement as they bathed them, dried them, hair sprayed and brushed them - no joke.  They were the fluffiest, prettiest things by the time the sellers were done with them.  I'm not gonna lie, I really wanted to take one home because they were so darn cute!

01.17.14

His:
I love shooting buildings, and often try to find unique angles and perspectives to change it up a bit.

Hers:
It's been nothing but blue skies all week so we've been trying to make the most of it with walking the dogs to the nearby park.  I've loved getting back into running in the city - very different from the burbs or our little Flagstaff.

01.16.14

His:
Customized Ramen, extra Sriracha.  Kick this cold!!

Hers:
How I see sunrise most mornings, from my shower.  It's such a peaceful way to start my day.

01.15.14

His:
Tara inspired me to find a really cool camera strap, so after a few weeks of searching, I finally found one,
and custom ordered this baby from Ukraine.

Hers:
Apparently we both did a little shopping!  This is my photo today, because I really do love to shop, but I was actually dreading going in to Cherry Creek Mall today.  I'm sure glad I went anyway, the lady who helped me was beyond kind and absolutely lifted my spirits and even turned my day around!  In a world where kindness and customer service seem to lack more times than not among strangers, it's little moments like this one that affirm my faith in humanity and keep me paying it forward.

01.14.14

His:
Couldn't help admire this man, enjoying his warm coffee and a good read on a cold day.

Hers:
Talking about wedding photography and drinking soy lattes, my idea of a perfect afternoon.

01.13.14

His:
Having been down and out with a cold for a few days, this has been a popular view.

Hers:
When we first moved to Denver, I fell in love with this smokestack the second I saw it!  I'm pretty sure the heart on it is what makes me love it most.

01.12.14

His:
Colorado Beer and football.  Need I say more?

Hers:
I drive by this church every night on my way home and I just love the art done on these windows.  I took this shot from inside my car just to give you an exact image of how I see this lovely church.

01.11.14

His:
Found these grazing cattle near the Reuter-Hess Reservoir on a brisk motorcycle ride.
Great view with the snowy mountains in the background.

Hers:
Walking in Confluence Park with our two sweet doggies.

01.10.14

His:
Great to see such pride downtown before a big game!

Hers:
This city has stolen my heart.

01.09.14

His:
Long exposure shots have always been one of my favorite things to shoot.
Hanging out on a treacherous cliff at midnight in sub zero temps and blasting winds makes it all part of the experience to get that shot.

Hers:
Last night was quite the adventure into the mountains to get a peek at the aurora borealis.  We only saw a couple of quick flares, but there's nothing quite like being bundled up with hot chocolate and some fireball whiskey and taking photos of our wonderful universe!

01.08.14

His:
Field testing the Black Magic Pocket Cinema camera this week... had to get a shot of the rig.

Hers:
I love having my wedding bouquet in our apartment.  The flowers have taken on a whole new look from fresh to dried and they serve as a little reminder of how wonderful our wedding day was.

01.07.14

His:
My photos of Tara just didn't do her justice...  So here's one of the window logo against a cloudy sky.

Hers:
My favorite part of my day, my husband.

01.06.14

His:
Marble reflections over a hot cup of Peruvian.

Hers:
My second love and passion, coffee.

01.05.14

His:
How can you resist these cute faces cuddles up next to the heater on a cold winter day?

Hers:
There's something really comforting about having natural elements in your home, especially when you live downtown in a big city.  Mike and I love having a good mix of industrial and natural in our apartment.

01.04.14

His:
I couldn't resist this shot of a GoPro drone at the PhotoSpace studio.
The light cast on the wall made it look like a helicopter on the airport runway at sunrise!

Hers:
I love snowy days and I love my Hunter boots, needless to say today was pretty perfect to me.

01.03.14

His:
Rehearsal.
Always great to sit down and play my custom built drums I crafted years ago.

Hers:

Just brainstorming fun ideas for my next tattoos.  I love Pinterest for this very reason and thousands of others that take up way too much time.

01.02.14

His:
Photographing buildings and architecture has always been a favorite of mine.
I loved the reflection of the sky in the windows and the contrast of stark lines and whispy afternoon clouds.

Hers:
I love old buildings and this is one of my favorites in our neighborhood.  There's just something about the history and grittiness that gets me.  This shot was taken while out walking around downtown Denver.

Bielecki365: 01.01.14

Hi friends and Happy New Year!  I love this time of year; all of the hope, excitement, plans, and things you want to accomplish in just 365 days.  Exciting to think about the year ahead, isn't it?
My husband and I decided to challenge ourselves with our camera this year, so we've made a commitment to one photo a day for 365 days.  If I'm being honest, I'm a little overwhelmed at the thought of getting one shot a day and posting it here, but I guess the point is to challenge ourselves each year - no matter what aspect of our lives it is.  So here is to a challenging, hardworking year with no fear and loads of creativity flowing.
We bring you our project: Bielecki365.

His:
This old typewriter sits in our house as a decoration, and I often wonder what stories have been written over its many years.  I was inspired by the hope for the new year to come, and the stories to be 'written'.

Hers:
Lazy days at home are far and few between and there's nothing I love more than some cozy socks and an oversize sweater to lounge around in.  It was great to have a day at home to reflect on 2013 and prepare for all that 2014 holds in store for us.
